I've been a resident of Amherst for over 20 years and have been a committed member of the community, serving on the Amherst School Committee for three terms, and on various other town committees.
I am proud to live in this community, but at the same time I think we can do better. Increasingly, I see a town that's divided between those who are "inside" the inner circle of decision-making and participation and those who are "outside." As your representative on the Select Board, I would seek to bring more of our citizen's voices to the table.
